It provides lightweight 15mm rod support at the industry-standard lens height, ensuring your matte box and follow focus align perfectly with the camera sensor.

Dual Quick Release System

This baseplate offers a unique dual-stage quick release system. Users can choose to remove the camera while leaving the 15mm rods behind by unlocking the right-side thumbscrew and sliding the camera back. The upper dovetail features an ARCA Swiss standard shape, making it compatible with various third-party gimbals and tripod plates. Alternatively, unlocking the left thumbscrew allows the entire baseplate and rods to be removed together, exposing an integrated ARRI dovetail slot for direct attachment to safety dovetails or shoulder rigs.

Advanced Accessory Integration

The Unified Baseplate is built for professional rigging. It includes multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes, alongside ARRI standard accessory mounts with locating pins. A vertical 15mm rod opening on the upper dovetail allows for direct support of lens adapter feet. For shoulder-mounted setups, it integrates seamlessly with the Unified VCT Wedge Plate for VCT-14 tripod compatibility.
