Atomos Ninja Phone

The Atomos Ninja Phone is a 10-bit video co-processor designed to turn compatible iPhones and iPads into professional camera monitors, recorders and streaming devices.

It connects DSLR, mirrorless and professional HDMI cameras to a phone or tablet, allowing users to monitor, record and stream high-quality camera footage directly through the mobile device.

Ninja Phone supports 4Kp24, 4Kp25 and 4Kp30 workflows, as well as 1080p and 720p frame rates up to 60fps. On supported iPhone Pro models, it can record in Apple ProRes, while additional recording options include H.265 Main 10, H.265 8-bit and H.264 8-bit.

By using the phone’s display, Ninja Phone gives creators a compact HDR monitoring setup for camera workflows. This is useful for content creation, livestreaming, mobile production, social video, interviews and compact camera rigs where carrying another monitor feels like adding one more rectangle to the pile.

The system works with the Ninja Phone app and supports professional streaming workflows through compatible apps such as Mavis. This allows creators to stream camera footage to platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Facebook, custom RTMP and SRT workflows.

Ninja Phone can be powered via USB-C 5V/3A or with NP-F550, NP-F750 and NP-F970 batteries. When powered, it can also charge the connected phone and accessories, helping keep the mobile production setup running for longer shoots.
