Professional LPL Lens Integration for Sony Venice
The Wooden Camera ARRI LPL Mount allows cinematographers to utilize ARRI LPL Signature Prime Lenses on Sony Venice and Venice 2 cameras. This adapter features integrated lens pogos that connect directly to the camera body, ensuring seamless electronic communication. With Signature Prime SUP 2.1, the Sony Venice system can accurately read Cooke /i metadata for comprehensive post-production workflows.
Precision Calibration and Shimmable Design
Each mount is factory-calibrated using professional collimation tools to ensure precise flange focus. While set at the factory, the mount is fully shimmable to accommodate cameras that may be out of calibration. By loosening six socket cap screws, users can add color-coded shims of various thicknesses to achieve perfect back focus. It is recommended to check back focus using a wide lens focused to infinity or dedicated collimation tools.
Versatile Compatibility
This mount is also compatible with the ARRI LPL to PL Adapter, providing the flexibility to switch between standard PL glass and modern LPL lenses without changing the mount. A dedicated LPL Cap is included to protect the sensor area from dust and environmental contaminants when a lens is not attached.
