Swit BM-U245 - 23.8-inch 4K/8K 12GSDI Studio Monitor product description
Professional 23.8-inch UHD Reference Monitoring
The Swit BM-U245 features a high-performance 23.8-inch 10-bit LCD panel with a native UHD resolution of 3840x2160. Designed for critical color grading and studio production, it offers a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 nits brightness, and covers 94.1% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The wide 178-degree viewing angle ensures consistent image quality across the production suite.
Advanced 4K and 8K Interface Support
Equipped with a robust 12G-SDI 4-in 4-out interface, the BM-U245 supports single-link 4K, quad-link 4K, and quad-link 8K inputs. It includes HDMI 2.0 (4K60P) and expandable SFP fiber slots for 12G-SDI or ST2110 IP connectivity. Users can monitor four independent 4K video feeds in multiview mode, mixing 12G/6G/3G/HD-SDI and HDMI formats with dedicated waveforms and vectorscopes for each input.
Automated 3DLUT Calibration and HDR Workflow
Maintain color accuracy with built-in 3DLUT auto-calibration. By connecting an X-rite i1 or JETI Specbos 1211 probe directly to the monitor's USB port, the BM-U245 generates its own patterns and calibrates automatically (Delta E ≤ 1.0). For HDR workflows, the monitor supports HLG, Dolby Vision PQ, and Sony S-Log3. The Payload ID auto-setting feature detects incoming metadata to instantly configure EOTFs, color gamut, and color space.
Zero Latency and Technical Analysis Tools
For live production and lip-sync monitoring, the BM-U245 offers a Zero Latency mode (less than 1/100 frame) for 4K sources. Technical tools include a built-in eye pattern for SDI signal quality checks, 16-channel audio meters with Lissajous patterns, and multiple de-log LUTs for major camera brands. Users can also upload custom 17x17x17 3DLUTs via USB.
Networked Remote Control
Manage your monitoring environment via the Webserver IP remote control. By connecting through an Ethernet LAN, operators can adjust picture parameters, assign function keys, and switch sources directly from a web browser, eliminating the need for external applications.
