The DZOFILM Marlin 1.6x Expander allows cinematographers to use their favorite Super 35 lenses, such as the Pictor Zoom series, on Full Frame and Vista Vision camera sensors. By magnifying the image circle by 1.6x, this expander provides a versatile solution for high-end productions without sacrificing the character of your glass.

Superior Optical Performance

Engineered to maintain the resolution and contrast of your lenses, the Marlin 1.6x ensures minimal image degradation. While it multiplies the focal length, it only results in a 1.5-stop light loss, making it an efficient choice for maintaining exposure in various lighting conditions.

Rapid Flange Back Adjustment

Equipped with a specialized adjustment ring, the Marlin allows for quick flange back calibration. This design enables you to achieve the best image performance and focus accuracy directly on set without removing the lens from the camera. Please note that while many Marlin versions are shim-less, the PL-PL and PL-LPL versions may still require shims for specific adjustments.

Robust Construction and Compatibility

Built for the rigors of professional sets, the Marlin features a stainless steel mount and a detachable supporting base for added stability. It is compatible with a wide range of PL-mount lenses, provided the distance from the flange plane to the rear of the lens is less than 19.64mm.
