The Zacuto Sony FX6 Z-Finder is a purpose-built optical viewfinder designed specifically for the Sony FX6 LCD monitor. Unlike universal solutions, this Z-Finder features a custom flip-up frame that slides onto the LCD and locks securely, providing a stable and immersive viewing experience for professional cinematographers.

High-Quality Optics and Magnification

Equipped with a 40mm diameter Zacuto lens, this viewfinder provides 2.5x magnification, turning your LCD into a clear, high-resolution monitor. The optics include anti-fog coated protective covers to maintain visibility in humid conditions. For users who require vision correction, the diopter allows for precise focus tuning. The kit includes Extender Frames to assist farsighted shooters, offering a diopter range of -4.0 to 0.0.

Innovative Flip-Up Frame

Speed is essential on set. The FX6 Z-Finder features a unique flip-up design controlled by a red lever at the base. This allows you to quickly swing the loupe out of the way to use the touchscreen or show the monitor to a director without removing the entire unit. The Z-Finder can also be popped off the frame entirely for rapid transitions.

Built-In Screen Protection

Protecting your gear is a priority. An integrated aluminum sun mask is built into the Z-Finder body to shield the Sony FX6 LCD from damaging sunlight. This mask also serves as the mounting point for optional drop-in diopters if further correction is needed beyond the standard range.

Secure 15mm Rod Mounting

The included mounting bracket utilizes the Sony 15mm rod mount for a rock-solid connection. A locking lever ensures the LCD remains stable during operation.
