Advanced Camera Control for RED Epic
The Cmotion REI-1 (C019-KR12) is a specialized interface cable designed to bridge the gap between the cvolution camin 3M and RED Epic cameras. This 0.8m cable (Lemo 4-pin male to Fischer 16-pin male) enables comprehensive remote communication, allowing operators to monitor and adjust critical camera parameters directly from their hand unit.
Compatibility and Setup Requirements
- Hardware Compatibility: Exclusively compatible with the cvolution camin 3M.
- Firmware Requirements: camin 3M firmware must be version 3.11.18 or higher; RED camera firmware must be at least 3.3.x.
- Configuration: The RED camera must be set to the REDLINK command Protocol.
- Connection: The cable must be connected to the CTRL port.
Note: Once configured, it may be necessary to power cycle the camin 3M to establish a stable connection.
