What are the system requirements for DaVinci Resolve Studio?

DaVinci Resolve Studio requires a powerful computer. Minimum requirements include:

• OS: Windows 10/11, macOS 12+, or Linux
• RAM: 16GB (32GB recommended for Fusion or 8K projects)
• GPU: Dedicated graphics card with at least 4GB VRAM
• Storage: Fast SSD recommended for cache and media files

You can first try the free version to see how that works on your system. The Studio version does have extra features which can increase the demands on your system however.

For Linux installs keep in mind that running Resolve on Linux is often more difficult compared to Windows or Mac. It can run and there are lots of users using it this way, but do expect to have to make extra efforts to get it running. Vocas can't offer assistance for getting Resolve to run on your system.
