The Datavideo HDR-90 is a robust 1U rack-mounted dual disk recorder engineered for Outdoor Broadcast (OB) vans and integrated studio systems. It delivers broadcast-grade UHD 4K recording using 10-bit 4:2:2 ProRes compression, ensuring maximum image fidelity for high-end production environments.

Integrated 5-Inch Touchscreen and Monitoring Tools

Equipped with a high-resolution 5-inch LCD touchscreen, the HDR-90 allows for seamless device configuration and live video monitoring. The built-in suite of professional calibration tools includes waveform, vectorscope, and focus peaking, providing operators with precise control over signal quality and recording accuracy.

Multi-Channel ISO Recording and Switching

Beyond single-camera setups, the HDR-90 functions as a powerful ISO recorder. It can capture up to four 1080p60 streams simultaneously to individual ProRes files, all synchronized with matching timecodes for efficient post-production. Additionally, the unit can operate as a four-channel HD video switcher, allowing users to view quad-view sources and switch between cameras via the touchscreen.

Versatile Connectivity and Redundant Storage

The HDR-90 supports a wide range of professional I/O, including one 12G-SDI input, one 4K HDMI input, and three 3G-SDI inputs. For audio, it features dual XLR analogue inputs and outputs with embedded audio support. Recordings are saved to two 2.5-inch SSD drives; if one disk reaches capacity, the system automatically switches to the second drive for uninterrupted capture.

Advanced Metadata and Control
