The Datavideo BB-1 allows you to access almost any IP-enabled device over the public internet with complete transparency. By leveraging the dvCloud platform, the BB-1 eliminates the need for complex network or firewall configurations, making remote devices appear as if they are on your local network.

Versatile IP Device Control

A single pair of BB-1 devices enables remote control of various IP-controllable hardware, including Datavideo PTZ cameras and switchers. This capability facilitates numerous remote production workflows by integrating camera controllers, workstations, encoders, decoders, and teleprompters into a unified system.

Scalable and User-Friendly Setup

A single BB-1 pair supports control for up to 5 devices at each location. For larger operations, each additional BB-1 unit provides access to 5 more devices, supporting up to 25 remote devices in total. Connectivity is managed through the dvCloud platform, with Professional subscriptions supporting up to six BB-1s and Essentials plans supporting two.

Enterprise-Grade Security

Maintain network integrity with 256-bit encryption, ensuring all data sent between BB-1 units remains secure. The BB-1 can provide remote access to devices on an existing local network or create its own isolated network depending on your production requirements.

Low-Latency SRT Streaming

The BB-1 combined with dvCloud supports SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) technology. Unlike traditional RTMP, SRT handles bandwidth volatility and network errors more efficiently, resulting in a better stream with less buffering and significantly lower latency even over unreliable networks.
