Full-Frame X9-6K Gimbal Camera
At the heart of the Ronin 4D is the Zenmuse X9-6K, a full-frame camera capable of internal ProRes 422 HQ recording. With 14+ stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO (800/5000), it delivers rich textures and accurate skin tones even in challenging lighting. The built-in 9-stop physical ND filters allow for precise exposure control in changing environments.
Revolutionary 4-Axis Stabilization
While traditional gimbals handle three axes, the Ronin 4D adds a Z-Axis to eliminate vertical camera shake. This active stabilization works alongside visual sensors and ActiveTrack Pro to achieve smooth, dolly-like movements without the need for heavy rigs or tracks.
Precision LiDAR Focusing System
The LiDAR Range Finder makes focusing faster and more intuitive. By casting 43,200 ranging points, the system ensures accurate focus even in low-light conditions. Manual lenses can now benefit from autofocus, while the LiDAR Waveform provides a 3D map for manual focus precision.
O3 Pro Wireless Transmission and Control
Utilizing O3 Pro Video Transmission, the Ronin 4D offers a massive 20,000-foot range. It supports 1080p/60fps feeds and allows for remote control of the gimbal, focus, and camera settings. The system is designed to support one transmitter with multiple receivers for complex set configurations.
