Professional Remote Control for Mōvi Ecosystem
The Mōvi Controller provides comprehensive command over your camera and gimbal, consolidating pointing, start/stop recording, camera settings, and FIZ control into one sleek console. Designed for Mōvi Pro, Mōvi Carbon, and Mōvi XL, it can be tripod-mounted or used with the included neck harness for mobile operations.
This bundle includes a pair of FRX Pro (900 MHz) modules, providing high-performance wireless communication between the Mōvi Controller and the gimbal.
Precision Gimbal Control
Manage pan, tilt, and roll via a high-precision 2-axis joystick and assignable input knobs.
- Roll control is optimized for trimming and small adjustments; for full roll control, Mōvi Wheels are recommended.
- Real-time gimbal telemetry from Mōvi Pro, Carbon, or XL.
- On-the-fly adjustment of key system parameters via integrated menus.
Advanced Camera Integration
Control capture parameters and recording status directly from the console for supported camera systems.
- RED Cameras: Control start/stop, parameters, and playback via RED RCP Cable (excludes RCP2 like Komodo or V-Raptor).
- ARRI Alexa Mini: Remote start/stop via Mōvi Pro ARRI Start/Stop Cable.
- Vision Research Phantom: Start/stop control for cameras with Fischer 12-pin ports.
- Freefly Wave: Remote operation via Mōvi Pro Wave Remote Control Cable.
- LANC Cameras: Remote start/stop for LANC-equipped systems.
Dedicated hardware inputs allow for precise Focus, Iris, and Zoom (FIZ) control. Use internal lens motors on RED/Canon EF setups or external motors via the Mōvi Pro/XL 3-axis lens control system.
Monitoring and Power
The controller acts as a central hub for your remote station, featuring a 13mm Quick-Release mount for LCD monitors and wireless video receivers.
A single V-lock battery powers the entire setup through multiple outputs:
- 12V 3A 2-pin LEMO (not ARRI pinned)
- 12V 50W D-Tap on the V-lock plate
- Dual 5V USB A ports
Note: Requires firmware 2.0 or higher on Mōvi and 4.0 or higher on Controller. Not compatible with legacy M5, M10, M15, or WEDGE systems.
