The Freefly XL Top Rail is engineered to provide a rigid connection between your camera and the top of the Mōvi XL camera cage. By securing the camera at both the top and bottom, this rail eliminates mechanical slop and compliance, ensuring the gimbal and camera move as a single, unified system.

Freefly's advanced cage design has been proven to increase stabilization quality by over 100 percent, depending on the specific camera package. This increased rigidity allows the Mōvi XL to perform at its peak, delivering smoother shots even with heavy or complex cinema builds.

Versatile Mounting Options

Constructed from 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum, the rail features a series of 1/4 20 mounting points spaced at 1 inch intervals. The quick-release, adjustable design allows for rapid configuration changes on set without sacrificing structural integrity.
