By linking up to four batteries, users can create a high-capacity power solution tailored to demanding production environments.

Seamless Hot-Swapping and Charging

PowerLink technology enables hot-swapping, drawing power from the last battery mounted first. This allows for continuous 24-hour filming without powering down the camera. When it comes to recharging, up to four stacked batteries can be charged simultaneously on a VL-2000S dual charger, significantly reducing downtime on set.

Advanced Connectivity and Features

Equipped with two 80W D-Taps and one USB output, the IPL-98 powers your camera and essential accessories like monitors and wireless transmitters. It features a built-in V-Torch LED light for easy mounting in dark environments and a 5-LED power indicator for accurate capacity monitoring in 10% increments. Digital data communication is fully supported for RED and Sony camera systems.
