While the glass is classic, the housing is entirely modern. The Leitz Hugo features a robust LPL mount and a dedicated cinematography build. It offers a traditional cine orientation for focus and iris scales, with an expanded focus throw of 270 degrees for precise pulling. The lens is engineered for reliability with readily available parts and a design that allows for lens mounts to be swapped to Leica M or L mounts if required.

Unmatched Portability and Close Focus

True to the spirit of engineer Hugo Wehrenfennig, these lenses are built for agility. Weighing approximately 810 grams and measuring between 68mm and 112mm in length, the Hugo 35mm is ideal for handheld work, drones, and gimbals.
