The Mid49 Mid Kit for RED KOMODO-X is a comprehensive accessory suite designed to enhance the ergonomics, connectivity, and mounting capabilities of your cinema camera. This kit provides a robust foundation for professional productions, integrating high-quality mechanical components with essential audio breakout functionality.
Advanced ARCA-Swiss Mounting
At the core of this kit is the ARCA Top Mount and Top Plate system. The mount attaches securely to the camera's front 1/4-20 or rear M4 holes, providing a sliding interface for the included 114mm Top Plate and Top Handle. This allows for quick adjustments and rapid breakdown on set. The ARCA Top Handle features a variety of mounting points, including 1/4-20, 3/8-16 with ARRI locating pins, and dual hot shoe mounts for monitors or wireless receivers.
Baseline 15mm LW Support
For lens support and matte box integration, the kit includes the Baseline 15mm LW Baseplate. This quick-release system features an ARCA-Swiss dovetail on top and an ARRI standard dovetail on the bottom, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard tripod plates. The included 9-inch stainless steel rods provide a durable platform for follow focus motors and other rod-mounted accessories.
Professional Audio and Side Protection
The Breakout Side Plate offers additional mounting real estate and serves as the anchor for the Audio Breakout AB-1. This essential adapter converts the camera's 00 LEMO connector into two standard full-size XLR inputs, allowing for high-quality balanced audio recording directly into the RED KOMODO-X.
