Mid49 Power Distribution Box DB-13 (FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55, V-Mount) product description
Professional Power Management for FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55
The Mid49 Power Distribution Box DB-13 is a purpose-built power solution that attaches directly to the rear of the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55 camera body. Utilizing the V-Mount interface, it provides a centralized hub for intelligent power distribution. This unit features a comprehensive array of outputs including D-Taps, 5V USB-C PD, 3-pin Fischer, and 2-pin LEMO compatible connectors. An integrated, removable LANC cable enables remote start/stop functionality when using 3-pin Fischer devices.
Uninterrupted Operation and Hot-Swap Capability
Maintain continuous uptime with the DB-13's sophisticated hot-swap system. The unit allows for seamless switching between an onboard battery and the 4-pin XLR DC input without losing power to the camera or accessories. When both power sources are connected, the DC input takes priority down to 12.5V, at which point the system automatically transitions to the onboard battery.
SMART FUSE Technology
The innovative SMART FUSE design actively monitors camera power consumption to optimize the remaining power budget for accessories. For example, since the ETERNA draws approximately 2.0A at 14V, a 10A battery leaves 8.0A for peripheral use. If an accessory configuration exceeds this limit, the system cuts power to the accessories while keeping the camera running. An LED indicator signals the error, and power can be restored via the RESET button once the load is adjusted.
Technical Specifications and Safety
- Inputs: V-Mount plate with SMBus communication; 4-pin XLR DC IN (11-17V).
- Outputs: 2x D-Tap (battery voltage); 2x 3-pin (24V at 2.5A with run/stop); 2x 2-pin (battery voltage); 1x USB-C PD (5V at 3A with thread lock).
- Safety: Immediate shutdown in the event of a short circuit to protect hardware.
Tilta Warning: When using a Tilta Nucleus lens control system, use only one 3-pin Fischer cable. Do not use an additional power cable. Due to a design error in Nucleus motors, they can short-circuit 24V and 12V rails, causing damage to the camera and distribution PCB.
