The Mid49 Power Distribution Box DB-8 is a professional power solution designed specifically for the Sony Burano. Attaching directly via the V-Mount interface, it provides a robust hub for powering the camera and multiple accessories through D-Tap, USB-C PD, 3-pin Fischer, and 2-pin LEMO compatible ports.

Intelligent Smart Fuse Technology

Equipped with a SMART FUSE design, the DB-8 actively monitors camera power consumption and dynamically allocates the remaining power budget to your accessories. If your rig exceeds the battery's capacity, the system cuts accessory power while keeping the camera running, preventing unexpected shutdowns. A dedicated LED indicates errors, and a simple reset button restores power once the load is adjusted.

Seamless Hot Swapping

Maintain continuous uptime with integrated hot-swap capability. The DB-8 allows you to switch between an onboard V-Mount battery and a 4-pin XLR DC input without losing power. The system intelligently prioritizes the DC input down to 12.5V before switching to battery power.

Versatile Connectivity and Compatibility

• Inputs: V-Mount plate with SMBus communication and 4-pin XLR (11-17V).
• Outputs: 2x D-Tap, 2x 3-pin Fischer (24V at 2.5A with run/stop), 2x 2-pin LEMO compatible, and 1x USB-C PD (5V at 3A).
• Compatibility: Native for Sony Burano; compatible with Sony Venice and Venice 2 via optional adapter cables.

Safety Note: When using Tilta Nucleus systems, use only one 3-pin Fischer cable. Do not use additional power cables to avoid potential short circuits and hardware damage.
