The OConnor 120EXe is the digital evolution of the industry-standard 120EX fluid head. Engineered for high-end cinema and visual effects, it provides high-precision pan and tilt position data via an external 19-pin Fischer connector. This makes it an essential tool for 3D productions, real-time pre-visualization, and complex CG compositing on set.

Advanced Motion Capture Integration

When paired with a third-party data logger or the optional companion encoder box, the 120EXe delivers high-resolution data of 1.8 million counts per revolution. This level of accuracy transforms the head into a powerful camera motion capture system, streamlining post-production workflows for feature films and commercials.

Unrivaled Payload with EX-Technology

Featuring OConnor's patented EX-technology, this head offers a stepless counterbalance mechanism that supports a massive range from 30 to 240 lbs (14 to 109 kg). While the standard capacity is 120 lbs (54 kg) at a full ±90° tilt, the EX-Mode allows for payloads up to 240 lbs at a ±60° tilt range, providing the freedom to use the largest cinema lenses available.

Ergonomic Cine-Style Control

Designed for the professional operator, all controls are located on the left-hand side for intuitive cine-style shooting. The sideload mechanism features a push-and-turn platform knob for precise fore and aft adjustments, while the collapsible counterbalance crank and digital readout ensure fast, repeatable setups.
