Porta Brace Custom Cold weather cover for Sony Fx5

Maintain Peak Performance in Extreme Cold

The Porta Brace POL-FX5 is a professional-grade polar cover specifically engineered to keep the Sony FX5 operational in freezing temperatures, snow, and high winds. This custom-fit solution is essential for winter documentaries, wildlife cinematography, and mountain productions where equipment failure is not an option.

Advanced Thermal Insulation

Constructed with a weather-resistant Cordura exterior and a specialized triple-layer insulated interior, the cover effectively traps heat around the camera body. This thermal regulation helps prevent battery drain and mechanical sluggishness caused by sub-zero environments.

Uncompromised Control and Visibility

The POL-FX5 ensures the operator remains as protected as the gear. Long fleece-lined sleeves provide a warm interface for manual adjustments without exposing hands to the elements. Large, clear vinyl panels offer a crisp view of the display and settings, while dedicated openings accommodate the XLR handle, microphones, and on-camera lights.
