The Porta Brace POL-DSLR2 Polar Bear Insulated Case is engineered to keep your camera equipment operational in extreme cold. Thickly padded with high-loft insulation and lined with specialized Mylar fabric, this case reflects heat back toward the camera body. Integrated air-activated heat packs ensure your battery, recorder, lens, and hands remain warm during long outdoor shoots.
Enhanced Ergonomics and Field Use
This updated design features improved lens access, allowing for easier adjustments even when reaching over the camera. The case offers a seamless fit on tripods with fewer zippers to fumble with in freezing temperatures. Suede leather handles provide a comfortable, secure grip, while the insulated lens hood prevents condensation when moving between cold environments and warm, moist areas.
Storage and Accessories
A spacious external pocket provides ample room for wireless receivers, spare heat packs (see PHP-2), and the included insulated lens cap. For added portability, the case is compatible with HB-40CAM-C shoulder straps.
