The Porta Brace POL-FX9 Polar Bear Camera Cover is engineered specifically to keep your Sony PXW-FX9 operational in freezing environments. Featuring a rugged black nylon exterior and thick high-loft insulation, this case provides a thermal barrier against the elements. The interior is lined with advanced phase-change material (PCM), a temperature-stabilizing fabric that traps warm air within the camera chamber to prevent electronic failure and battery drain.
For extreme conditions, the POL-FX9 has been tested to perform at temperatures as low as minus 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Integrated Touch Fastener strips allow for the placement of optional air-activated hand-warmers (Portabrace Polar Heat Packs) to maintain internal heat. The design accommodates both standard lenses and matte boxes, ensuring versatility on set.
