The Portkeys BM7 II DS is a rugged 7-inch touchscreen monitor designed for professional cinematographers. Building on the success of the BM5 III WR, this evolution delivers a massive 2,200 nits of brightness, making it perfectly viewable in the harshest daylight conditions. The 10-bit (8+2 FRC) panel provides stunning color accuracy with 100% Rec.709 coverage and 85% DCI-P3 coverage.

Advanced Camera Control Integration

Take full command of your rig with extensive wired and wireless camera control capabilities. The BM7 II DS is RED Approved, offering wireless control for the RED Komodo and V-RAPTOR. It also supports wireless management for Sony and Blackmagic Design cameras, as well as wired control for Canon, Panasonic, and ZCAM. You can even control TILTA Nucleus N/M wireless follow focus systems directly from the monitor.

Seamless Signal Management

Equipped with dual 3G-SDI inputs and HDMI connectivity, the monitor supports HDMI to SDI cross-conversion. This allows for complex signal routing and split-screen monitoring of two video inputs simultaneously. Professional tools like Waveform, Vectorscope, Anamorphic de-squeeze, and ARRI False Color ensure your exposure and focus are always precise.

Despite its robust all-aluminum housing, the BM7 II DS weighs only 460g. Powering is versatile thanks to dual Sony NP-F style battery plates and industry-standard 2-pin LEMO or barrel connectors.
