The Quasar Science Rainbow 2 (R2) is a 240cm linear LED light designed for high-end motion picture and content creation. Featuring a single row of high-fidelity RGBX pixels, this 8-foot fixture delivers realistic lighting with intense, tunable white light and rich, saturated colors. Its slim profile makes it an ideal workhorse for lighting actors or environments in tight spaces.

Advanced Color Science and Control

Equipped with the RGBX Spectral Science Color Engine, the Rainbow 2 offers a choice of over one billion colors. It provides a wide CCT range from 1,750K to 10,000K with exceptional color rendition (SSI up to 91, CRI 95). The industry-first perceptually distributed color palette allows for instinctual control, while Spectral Control enables precise color-matching with third-party fixtures.

Seamless Connectivity and Rigging

The Rainbow 2 eliminates the need for external data boxes. It features a built-in Ethernet Node and supports a variety of wired and wireless protocols, including DMX, sACN, Art-Net, CRMX, and Bluetooth. For rigging, the integrated Ossium Mounting System (OMS) provides a versatile rail and slider setup that adapts to standard grip hardware.

Reliable Power for Any Set

Designed for versatility, the R2 supports both AC and DC inputs. The direct AC input removes the need for bulky power supplies, while the Ossium Battery Plate allows for seamless battery swaps to minimize downtime during production.
