Radius 10cm Nimbus Windshield (19/22), Black Fur

Professional Wind Protection for Shotgun Microphones

The Radius Nimbus 10cm Windshield is a high-performance slip-on fur windscreen designed for small shotgun and camera-mounted microphones with a diameter of 19-22mm. Engineered to provide up to 25dB of wind noise reduction in light to moderate conditions, it ensures clean audio capture without sacrificing sound quality.

Constructed with premium black acoustic synthetic fur over a porous open-cell foam core, the Nimbus maintains excellent high-frequency detail. The innovative rubber rear cap features pepper-pot vents, which are specifically designed to minimize polar-pattern distortion and maintain acoustic transparency while preventing air from entering behind the microphone capsule.

This 10cm model is compatible with microphones where the sound-entry slots are within 10cm of the tip, including the Sony ECM-XM1 and JVC MV-P615.
