Radius 12cm Nimbus Windshield (19/22), Black Fur

Professional Wind Protection for Compact Shotgun Microphones

The Radius Nimbus 12cm Windshield is a high-performance slip-on windscreen designed for location recording in light to moderate wind conditions. Engineered for 19-22mm diameter microphones, this windshield provides up to 25dB of wind-noise reduction while maintaining the high-frequency transparency essential for professional audio capture.

Advanced Acoustic Design

Constructed with a combination of premium acoustic synthetic fur and a porous open-cell foam core, the Nimbus ensures minimal coloration of the sound. The integrated rubber rear cap creates a tight seal around the microphone body to prevent wind leakage from the back. Additionally, specialized pepper-pot vents in the cap are designed to minimize interference with the microphone's polar pattern, ensuring consistent off-axis rejection.
