Radius 18cm Nimbus Windshield (19/22), Black Fur

Professional Wind Protection for Shotgun Microphones

The Radius Nimbus 18cm Windshield is a high-performance slip-on solution designed for shotgun microphones with a 19-22mm diameter. Engineered to provide up to 25dB of wind-noise reduction in light to moderate conditions, this windshield ensures your audio remains clean without sacrificing high-frequency clarity. It is specifically designed for microphones with sound-entry slots located within 18cm of the tip.

Advanced Acoustic Design

Constructed with a porous open-cell foam core and premium black synthetic acoustic fur, the Nimbus maintains a transparent sound profile. The integrated rubber rear cap effectively blocks unwanted airflow from behind the capsule, while the specialized pepper-pot vents minimize any impact on the microphone's natural polar pattern.

Broad Compatibility

This 18cm version is perfectly suited for industry-standard microphones, including:

• Sennheiser MKH 416 and MKH 418-S
• Rode NTG-3
• Sanken CS-3e
• Sony ECM-678
