Radius 5cm MKH50 Nimbus Windshield (24/25), Black Fur product description
Professional Wind Protection for Sennheiser MKH 50
The Radius Nimbus 5cm Windshield is a high-performance slip-on windscreen engineered specifically for the Sennheiser MKH 50 and other microphones with a 24-25mm diameter. Combining a dense open-cell foam core with premium acoustic synthetic fur, this windshield provides up to 25dB of wind-noise reduction while maintaining exceptional high-frequency transparency for critical location recording.
Advanced Acoustic Design
Designed for light to moderate wind conditions, the Nimbus features a specialized pepper-pot vent system on the rear rubber end cap. This unique design prevents pressure build-up and ensures the microphone's natural polar response remains uncolored. The snug 24-25mm fit creates an airtight seal at the base, preventing rear-entry wind turbulence from reaching the capsule.
- Compatibility: Optimized for Sennheiser MKH 20, MKH 30, MKH 40, MKH 50, and Sony ECM-MS2.
- Coverage: Ideal for microphones with sound-entry slots within 5cm of the tip.
- Materials: Durable black synthetic fur and professional-grade foam.
