Radius Mini Urchin Lav windshield, Black (Single) product description
Professional Wind Protection for Miniature Lavaliers
The Radius Mini Urchin Black is a high-performance, discreet fur windshield designed specifically for miniature lavalier microphones with a diameter of 2-4mm. Measuring approximately 25mm across, this extra-compact version offers a significantly smaller profile than the standard Urchin, making it the ideal choice for professional interviews, scripted dialogue, and plant-microphone setups where visibility must be minimized.
Superior Acoustic Design
Crafted from premium black synthetic acoustic fur, the Mini Urchin effectively reduces wind interference while maintaining transparent sound quality. The integrated blue retaining strap ensures a secure fit, preventing the windshield from slipping during active movement. Beyond outdoor use, it serves as an excellent tool for controlling clothing rustle when concealed beneath garments.
Universal Compatibility
This windshield is engineered to fit industry-standard miniature microphones, including the DPA 6060, Sanken COS-11, Countryman B6, Deity W.Lav Pro, and Sennheiser MKE 1. Each package includes one black windshield.
