Radius Mini Urchin Lav windshield, White (Pair) product description
Professional Wind Protection for Miniature Lavaliers
The Radius Mini Urchin White Pair offers high-quality wind protection for location sound recordists and dialogue editors. These compact synthetic-fur covers are specifically designed for miniature microphones with a 2-4mm diameter, providing a discreet solution for high-wind environments or hidden microphone placements.
Discreet Design and Secure Fit
Measuring approximately 25mm across, the Mini Urchin is significantly smaller than standard windshields. The white fur is ideal for blending into light-colored wardrobe, ensuring the microphone remains unobtrusive on camera. Each windshield features an integrated blue retaining strap to ensure it stays securely attached to the microphone head during active movement.
Versatile Performance
Beyond reducing wind noise, the synthetic fur helps minimize clothing rustle when the microphone is mounted under garments. This pair is compatible with industry-standard miniature lavaliers, including:
- Countryman B6
- DPA 6060
- Deity W.Lav Pro
- Sanken COS-11
- Sennheiser MKE 1
