Radius Puffer Urchin Lav windshield, Foam Core, Black (Single)

Professional Wind Protection for Miniature Lavaliers

The Radius Puffer Urchin is a high-performance lavalier microphone windshield designed for demanding outdoor environments. Measuring approximately 35mm across, this single black cover provides a robust solution for ENG interviews, documentary filmmaking, and field recording where standard covers fail to block wind noise.

Advanced Dual-Layer Technology

Unlike standard fur covers, the Puffer Urchin features an integrated foam core. This combination of synthetic acoustic fur and internal foam creates a dual-layer barrier that significantly reduces wind interference while maintaining acoustic transparency. It is specifically engineered for miniature microphones with a diameter of 2-4mm.

Secure Fit and Compatibility

To ensure the windshield remains in place during active shoots, it includes a signature blue retaining strap for a secure grip. This model is compatible with industry-standard miniature lavaliers, including:

• DPA 6060 and 6061
• Sanken COS-11
• Countryman B6
• Deity W.Lav Pro
• Sennheiser MKE 1
