Radius Urchin Lav windshield, Black (Single) product description
Professional Wind Protection for Miniature Lavaliers
The Radius Urchin is a high-performance black fur windshield specifically engineered for miniature lavalier microphones with a 2-4mm diameter. Measuring approximately 35mm across, this low-profile windscreen is an essential tool for location sound recordists, documentary filmmakers, and broadcast professionals looking to eliminate wind interference during outdoor interviews and dialogue recording.
Secure Fit and Multi-Purpose Use
Equipped with a signature blue retaining strap, the Urchin ensures the synthetic fur remains securely attached to the microphone head even in challenging conditions. Beyond outdoor use, it excels as a buffer under clothing to significantly reduce wardrobe rustle when concealing microphones. This single black windshield provides a discreet yet effective solution for high-quality audio capture.
Broad Compatibility
The Radius Urchin is designed to fit industry-standard miniature microphones, including the Countryman B6, DPA 6060, Deity W.Lav Pro, Sanken COS-11, and Sennheiser MKE 1.
