Native Nikon Z Mount Integration
As part of the Z CINEMA Series, this model features a native locking Nikon Z mount. This collaboration brings Nikon's optical innovations to the cinema world, offering smooth iris control, customizable lens response, and high-speed autofocus. The shallow flange depth also ensures broad compatibility with various lens systems via third-party adapters.
RED Global Vision and Global Shutter
The V-RAPTOR [X] is the first large-format global shutter camera on the market. It introduces RED Global Vision, a suite of tools including Extended Highlights for superior HDR detail and Phantom Track for streamlined virtual production. Capture 8K at 120P onto CFexpress Type B media with up to 800MB/s data rates.
Advanced IP Connectivity
Built on the DSMC3 platform, the camera offers professional connectivity including 12G-SDI, integrated Frame.io support, AWS direct upload, and RED Connect for live 8K R3D video over IP. The redesigned sensor cavity further enhances contrast by mitigating stray light.
