Built on the proven V-RAPTOR [X] platform, this system delivers essential features for high-end production, including R3D recording at 8K VV 60P, 4K 120P, and 2K 240P. The 8K VV sensor provides over 50% more pixels than the KOMODO-X, offering superior creative control over depth of field and detail.
Locking Nikon Z Mount Versatility
As part of the Z CINEMA series, the V-RAPTOR XE features a native locking Nikon Z mount. This shallow 16mm flange depth makes it the most adaptable modern mount available. Close coordination between Nikon and RED enables advanced features like smooth iris control, customizable lens response, and adjustable autofocus speeds, bringing Nikon optical innovation directly into the cinema workflow.
Advanced I/O and Cloud Connectivity
Designed for demanding sets, the V-RAPTOR XE includes dual 12G SDI outputs for unique monitoring views and CFexpress Type B support for recording speeds up to 800MB/s. The system is fully IP connected, featuring integrated cloud upload to Frame.io or AWS, and is compatible with RED Control Pro for comprehensive remote operation via wired or wireless configurations.
