The NT55 features integrated switching for precise sound management. A three-position pad (0, -10dB, -20dB) allows for recording high-pressure sound sources without distortion, while the three-stage high-pass filter (Off, 75Hz, 150Hz) effectively removes unwanted low-end rumble and proximity effect.

Interchangeable Capsule System

Equipped with a 1/2-inch gold-sputtered capsule, the NT55 provides exceptional frequency response. This model includes the NT45-O omnidirectional capsule, allowing users to easily switch between cardioid and omni polar patterns to suit the acoustic space.
