The Rode PSA1 is the industry-standard studio boom arm designed for radio, broadcast, and home studio environments. Whether you are podcasting or streaming, the PSA1 provides a silent and flexible solution for positioning your microphone exactly where you need it.

Maximum Reach and Flexibility

Experience total freedom of movement with a full 360-degree rotation. The arm offers a horizontal reach of 820mm and a vertical reach of 840mm, ensuring you can find the perfect angle for every recording session. Internal springs provide smooth, quiet operation to prevent unwanted noise during live broadcasts.

Versatile Mounting Options

The PSA1 is supplied with two mounting options to suit any workspace. Use the desk-clamp for surfaces up to 55mm thick or the desk-insert for permanent installations in desks up to 70mm thick. It also includes velcro cable wraps to keep your setup clean and organized.

Compatibility and Weight Support

Optimized for the Rode Procaster and Podcaster, the PSA1 supports most microphones weighing between 700g and 1.1kg when combined with a shock mount. It is fully compatible with the following models:
