The Rycote 35/50 Reporter Mic Foam is a discreet, slip-on windshield designed to protect microphone heads against light wind and pop noise. Ideal for field journalists and broadcasters, this foam ensures your audio remains clear without compromising the professional appearance of your setup.

Constructed from durable, high-quality open-cell acoustic foam, these windshields offer up to 20 dB of wind noise attenuation. The specialized material is engineered to keep high-frequency loss to a minimum, preserving the natural clarity and detail of the voice during interviews.

Technical Compatibility and Durability

This model is specifically designed for reporter microphones with a 35 mm diameter and slots located no further than 50 mm from the front of the mic. Engineered exclusively for Rycote, the foam provides excellent resistance against the damaging effects of moisture and UV light. For extreme conditions, all Rycote Shotgun Mic Foam Windshields can be fitted with an additional Rycote Foam Windjammer for a further 12 dB of attenuation.
