The SmallRig Basic Cage Kit 3668B is a comprehensive rigging solution designed for the Sony Alpha 7R V, Alpha 7 IV, and Alpha 7S III. This kit provides essential protection and multiple mounting points, making it ideal for professional videographers and content creators who require a reliable handheld setup.

Ergonomic Design and Protection

The included top handle is ergonomically designed to facilitate easy carrying and comfortable low-angle shots. To ensure maximum stability, the cage utilizes a triple-point locking system, securing the camera via a 1/4"-20 screw at the base and two side locking plates. A unique hinged arm at the battery door follows the camera's natural curve, enhancing the grip experience without obstructing battery access.

Extensive Accessory Integration

Equipped with a variety of mounting interfaces, the cage supports a wide range of accessories. It features 1/4"-20 threaded holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 locating holes, cold shoe mounts, and NATO rails. These allow for the attachment of monitor mounts (such as 2294 or 2903B), microphones, LED lights, and NATO-compatible accessories. The integrated QD socket supports quick-release shoulder straps for added versatility.

Secure Signal Transmission

The HDMI cable clamp attaches to the left side of the cage using a 1/4"-20 screw and two locating pins. It uses a thumbscrew to fix cables in place, preventing signal loss and protecting the camera's interfaces during intensive shoots. For maintenance on the go, a magnetic flat-head screwdriver and hex spanner are stored in the base of the cage.
