The SmallRig Universal 15mm Rail Support System Baseplate is a versatile foundation designed for mirrorless and DSLR camera setups. This adjustable baseplate provides a stable platform for mounting 15mm rods, allowing you to attach essential accessories like follow focuses, matte boxes, and lens supports.
Featuring an Arca-Swiss standard quick release plate and base plate, the system utilizes a secure locking lever for rapid camera attachment and removal. This ensures efficiency on set when switching between handheld and tripod configurations.
Precision is key in any rig. This baseplate offers significant height adjustability via a wingnut, enabling a standard 85mm rod height. The distance from the QR plate to the rod center can be adjusted between 33.6mm and 57.6mm to accommodate various camera bodies and lens diameters. For tripod mounting, the unit is equipped with multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes on the bottom.
