Sony BRC-H800 1" Exmor R CMOS HD PTZ camera, includes AC adapter product description
Broadcast-Quality Full HD Imaging
The Sony BRC-H800 remote camera delivers uncompromising broadcast picture quality combined with smooth, silent PTZ operation. Equipped with a large 1.0-type Exmor R CMOS image sensor, it captures crisp, low-noise Full HD images at 60p. This high-performance sensor also enables beautiful bokeh effects with a shallow depth of field, making it ideal for TV newsrooms, remote studios, and live event venues.
Advanced Zeiss Optics and Zoom Technology
The high-quality Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens features a 12x optical zoom range suitable for both wide-angle scenes and tight close-ups. Sony's intelligent Clear Image Zoom technology extends this range to 24x (HD) without losing resolution. For extreme reach, the Tele Convert Mode can double the range again to 48x while maintaining 1920x1080 resolution.
Precision PTZ and Motion Sync
Re-frame shots accurately with near-silent remote control. The BRC-H800 includes PTZ Motion Sync, which blends pan, tilt, and zoom movements for seamless transitions. PTZ Trace Memory allows operators to record and recall complex camera sequences. With support for up to 100 preset positions, managing multi-camera setups becomes highly efficient.
Professional Connectivity and Integration
Designed for seamless integration into broadcast and corporate AV environments, the camera features dual 3G-SDI and HDMI video outputs. It supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) to reduce cabling and includes Genlock for multi-camera synchronization. For studio control, the BRC-H800 is compatible with Sony Remote Control Panels (RCP-1500/1501/1530) and Master Setup Units (MSU-1000/1500) over IP networks.
Versatile Operation in Any Environment
The BRC-H800 excels in low-light conditions, capturing color video at levels as low as 1.7lx. It features dual tally lamps for on-air signaling and offers flexible mounting options for ceilings, tabletops, or tripods. Firmware updates via IP ensure the camera remains up to date with the latest performance improvements.
