The Sony BRC-H800 is a premium remote camera designed to deliver uncompromising broadcast-quality Full HD images. Equipped with a large 1.0-type Exmor R CMOS sensor, it captures detailed 60p footage with exceptional low-noise performance. This large sensor also enables beautiful bokeh effects with a shallow depth of field, providing the artistic flexibility required for high-end productions.

Precision Optics and Intelligent Zoom

Featuring a high-quality Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, the BRC-H800 offers a 12x optical zoom range suitable for both wide-angle shots and tight close-ups. Sony's Clear Image Zoom technology extends this range to 24x (HD) without losing resolution. For extreme reach, the Tele Convert Mode can double the range again to 48x while maintaining full 1920x1080 resolution.

Advanced PTZ Motion and Control

Experience near-silent pan, tilt, and zoom operations. The PTZ Motion Sync feature blends separate movements for smooth, professional transitions, while PTZ Trace Memory allows for the storage and recall of complex camera sequences. With support for up to 100 preset positions, re-framing shots is fast and accurate.

Seamless Studio Integration

The BRC-H800 is built for professional environments, featuring dual tally lamps for on-air signaling and versatile mounting options for ceilings, desktops, or tripods. Connectivity is robust, including 3G-SDI (x2) and HDMI outputs. Integration is further simplified with PoE+ to reduce cabling and Genlock for multi-camera synchronization.

Remote Operation and Compatibility

Control the camera via the included IR remote, the optional RM-IP500 unit, or through IP networks.
