The Sony CBK-DL1 is a versatile USB interface expansion adapter designed to enhance the networking power of professional shoulder-mount and handheld camcorders. By doubling the number of available USB connectors, this adapter unlocks advanced features like Dual Link QoS Streaming and high-speed FTP transfers, ensuring your production workflow remains efficient and reliable in the field.

Advanced Streaming and Data Transfer

Equipped with a DC 12V input/output terminal, the CBK-DL1 can be powered directly by the camcorder or an external source. It is specifically engineered to support XDCAM air functionality, allowing for cellular Dual Link streaming to on-premise network RX stations such as the PWS-110RX1A. This ensures stable, high-quality video transmission even in challenging network environments.

Compatibility and Installation

The CBK-DL1 is natively compatible with a wide range of Sony camcorders, including the PXW-X500, PXW-X400, PXW-Z450, PXW-Z190, and PXW-Z280. For shoulder-mount models, a mounting bracket is included in the box. Handheld camcorders like the PXW-Z280 and PXW-Z190 require third-party PROTECH mounting brackets for secure attachment.

Please note: The CBK-DL1 does not include a cellular modem or USB wireless LAN module. A data contract and specific network licenses may be required to enable full networking functionality.
