The Sony HDVF-EL30 is a high-end 0.7-inch Full HD OLED viewfinder designed for demanding 4K and HD production environments. By utilizing Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) technology, this viewfinder delivers near-instantaneous pixel response, making it ideal for tracking fast-moving subjects with precision. The high contrast ratio and wide dynamic range ensure deep blacks and accurate highlight reproduction for critical focusing.

Dual-Display Monitoring Flexibility

Unique to the HDVF-EL30 is the inclusion of a 3.5-inch quarter HD (960 x 540) sub-LCD panel. This secondary display allows camera assistants to monitor the shot from a distance while the operator uses the main OLED eyepiece. The sub-LCD features a foldable hood to minimize glare and can display tally signals and camera numbers for seamless studio integration.

Advanced Optics and Custom Control

Equipped with a specially developed optical loupe, the HDVF-EL30 provides a high eye-point and reduced image distortion. The HIEYE function allows operators to downscale the image via the menu or assignable buttons, preventing vignetting when viewing from a distance. Users can also customize the viewfinder with assignable buttons for functions like focus magnification and monochrome switching.
