The Sony RMU-01 is a high-performance Remote Control Unit specifically engineered for the Sony Digital Wireless Microphone System. It allows for centralized control of up to 82 digital wireless transmitters through a dedicated RF carrier in the 2.4GHz spectrum, utilizing the software provided with the DWR-R01D receiver.
Extended Range and Scalability
A single RMU-01 unit provides a coverage radius of 10 meters (32 feet). For larger venues, the system is highly scalable; you can integrate up to nine RMU-01 units to significantly expand the 2.4GHz coverage area. Regardless of the number of remote units installed, the system maintains control over a maximum of 82 transmitters.
Flexible Connectivity and Power
- Ethernet Integration: Connect via standard RJ-45 cabling to create a robust remote control network for use with DWR-R01D receivers.
- PoE Support: Compatible with third-party Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switches, making long-distance LAN installations efficient and clean.
- Power Versatility: Can be powered via PoE or the included AC-UES1230M T* AC adapter for maximum reliability.
Versatile Mounting Solutions
The RMU-01 is designed for diverse installation environments. It includes screw adapters for microphone stand mounting and a dedicated bracket for secure ceiling or wall placement.
