Seamless Power for ARRI Alexa MINI and MINI LF

The Swit KA-R31B is a dedicated B-mount hot-swap plate designed specifically for the ARRI Alexa MINI and MINI LF. It ensures your camera remains powered at a regulated 28V during battery changes, eliminating downtime on set. By utilizing the 8-pin DC-IN, the plate provides a consistent 28.8V (22-33.6V) power supply, allowing for seamless transitions without switching off the camera.

High-Capacity Internal Battery and LCD Countdown

Equipped with internal 32Wh/3Ah battery cells, the KA-R31B supports a constant high load of 200W. Even after 1000 cycles, the plate maintains a 2-minute buffer for battery swaps. An integrated LCD screen provides a clear 120-second countdown once the main battery is removed, giving operators ample time to swap power sources. The internal cells are automatically recharged once a new battery is attached.

Advanced Power and SDI Distribution

This plate acts as a comprehensive power hub, featuring multiple outputs for accessories:

• 1x 8-pin 28V output for ALEXA MINI/MINI LF
• 2x D-tap 14V regulated outputs
• 1x 2-pin LEMO 14V regulated output
• 1x USB-A 5V/2A port
• 1x 8-pin 22-33.6V input for power station hotswapping

Rigging and Compatibility

The KA-R31B is designed to integrate with the ARRI RAB-1 Clamp 2 (K2.0023406). Please note that the K2.0023406 clamp is not included. For older setups, a 15mm Rod Adaptor is included in the package to ensure compatibility with legacy ALEXA MINI 15mm rig systems.
