Professional Stabilization for DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro
The Tilta Float System is a compact camera stabilizer designed to work seamlessly with the DJI RS 2 and RS 3 Pro. By combining a counterweight-based post with the gimbal's internal stabilization, this system allows for incredibly smooth, free-flowing cinematic movements that are difficult to achieve with handheld setups alone.
Fatigue-Free Operation
The ergonomic design features a spring-loaded arm and a lightweight support vest. This configuration transfers the weight of your camera rig from your arms to your torso, significantly reducing user fatigue and allowing for much longer shooting durations. The included Lower Back Support and Single Shoulder Strap further optimize weight distribution for maximum comfort.
Integrated Wireless Control
Take full command of your production with the included Wireless Thumb Controller. This unit allows you to wirelessly control the Ronin gimbal as well as Nucleus M or Nucleus Nano follow focus motors. The controller mounts directly to the yoke via the system's Monitor Bracket and is powered by GoPro 5-8 batteries (USB-C port included for firmware updates only).
Power and Compatibility
This V-Mount version provides robust power flexibility. The system can power the gimbal via the internal post cable, which handles 14.8V and 3A (up to 6A maximum). While optimized for the DJI RS series, the Float is compatible with any gimbal under 10kg that mounts via 1/4"-20 threads and powers via 2-pin Lemo.
Important Technical Remarks
- RS3/RS3 Pro Compatibility: The M Key on the controller only changes the Mode setting and cannot mimic all gimbal functions.
- Power Output: The system does not have power outputs other than the 2-pin Lemo designed for the RS2.
- Gimbal Size: It is not recommended for gimbals larger than "handheld" class (e.g., Movi Pro), even if under the 10kg limit.
