The Tokina Cinema 25-75mm T2.9 is a purpose-built cinema zoom designed to bridge the gap between wide-angle and telephoto focal lengths. Featuring a 36mm image circle, this lens provides native coverage for Super35+ sensors, including the RED Helium 8K, RED Dragon 6K, and Alexa LF in 4K UHD mode. It also serves as a versatile workhorse for popular mirrorless and cinema cameras from Canon, Blackmagic Design, and Panasonic in 4K DCI or UHD.
Precision Optical Engineering
Engineered for demanding productions, the 25-75mm maintains a parfocal design, ensuring focus remains locked throughout the zoom range. Optical performance is characterized by minimal focus breathing and exceptionally low distortion. When used with the Tokina Cinema 1.6x Expander, the lens transforms into a 40-120mm T4.2, providing full-frame and Vista Vision coverage for 6K and 8K sensors.
Seamless Workflow Integration
This lens is designed to match the mechanical and optical characteristics of the Tokina Cinema 50-135mm T2.9 MKII and 11-20mm T2.9. Together, they form a cohesive 3-lens set covering 11mm to 135mm. The interchangeable mount system allows for easy switching between PL, EF, Sony E, MFT, and Nikon F mounts, providing long-term flexibility for various camera systems.
