The Vocas Alister’s ENG Kit for Sony PXW-FX9 offers professional filmmakers a ready-to-use rigging solution tailored to ENG-style shooting. This complete kit includes everything needed to expand the functionality and ergonomics of the Sony FX9, while retaining its original top handle with all electrical features and GPS module.
At the core is the H-cheese plate for Sony PXW-FS7 / FS7 II / FX9 (0350-1368), allowing 15 mm top rod support without removing the original Sony top handle. The unique H-shape design creates ample mounting options on the top of the camera for accessories such as monitors, recorders, or wireless receivers.
Also included are two pieces of 15 mm aluminum rods, each 250 mm long (0350-9250), offering stable and precise support for additional gear. The straight 15 mm rod bracket (0390-0110) secures the handgrip system to the rods, while the medium handgrip extender (110 mm, 0390-0020) provides ergonomic positioning. The kit is completed with the newly developed handgrip rosette adapter (0390-0190), which allows the Sony FX9 handgrip to be mounted directly onto the top rods for a versatile, ENG-optimized configuration.
This setup is ideal for documentary, news, and field productions, giving operators a highly adaptable solution without compromising the FX9’s integrated technology.
