Advanced Power Management for ARRI Alexa Mini and Mini LF
The Wooden Camera D-Box (Gold Mount) is a sophisticated power distribution solution designed specifically for the ARRI Alexa Mini and Mini LF. This custom version of the popular D-Box adds standardized remote start/stop, power distribution, and essential hot-swap abilities to your cinema rig. It supports up to four simultaneous outputs with a 10A total draw, protected by an easily accessible fuse.
Comprehensive Connector Array
- 7-pin EXT Port: A replica of the camera's rear connector, maintaining external communication and R/S functionality.
- 2-pin 12V Unregulated (x2): ARRI standard wiring; slots are swappable for Hirose, 4-pin, or D-Tap connectors.
- 3-pin Fischer 24V Regulated (x2): Built-in regulator converts battery voltage to 24V with a 3A shared maximum.
- 4-pin Mini XLR 12V Input: Enables hot-swapping via the included 8-inch pigtail cable for uninterrupted power.
Mounting and Compatibility
The D-Box features three 1/4-20 holes on the bottom, allowing for direct attachment to 15mm LW, 15mm Studio, or 19mm Rod Clamps. For adjustable setups, it pairs seamlessly with the Wooden Camera Battery Slide or Recorder Slide. It is also compatible with the ARRI BAP-1 mounting plate.
Technical Specifications and Safety
The authentic Anton Bauer plate includes one unregulated D-Tap port. Safety is managed by a primary fuse for the output panels and a secondary F10A fast-blow fuse located within the plate for the D-Tap ports. Total power draw is limited to 10A, with individual 24V outputs supporting up to 3A max combined.
