Advanced Power Distribution for Sony Venice

The Wooden Camera D-Box is a custom-engineered power solution for the Sony Venice and Venice 2. This V-Mount version integrates power distribution, standardized remote start/stop, and hot-swap capabilities directly into your camera rig. The main unit mounts to the AXS-R7 or the rear V-Mount plate, while the Power Strip attaches to the top right side via a 3pin Fischer and tape hook threaded hole.

Seamless Integration and Protection

The Power Strip is contoured to match the Sony Venice profile, ensuring cable installations without collisions. It supports ARRI standard start/stop triggers (like the UMC-4 or WCU-4) through the 3pin Fischer port. Instead of traditional fuses, the D-Box features a processor-controlled amp limit (3.8, 5.8, or 9 amps). If an accessory exceeds the limit, only the accessory outputs are disabled, keeping the camera running safely.

Intelligent Power Management

The 4pin XLR DC input allows for AC power supplies or block batteries to provide power during battery changes. When both sources are connected, the D-Box prioritizes the DC input to keep the onboard battery charged. Dual "DC IN" and "BATT" LEDs provide instant visual feedback on voltage levels (Green >12.5V, Red <12V, Orange 12-12.5V).

• 1x 4pin XLR DC Input: Priority power for 14.4V block batteries.
